Compression trial
Pack the approved configuration using the intended method. Measure the outer carton length, width and height in centimetres, gross weight in kilograms and number of cartons per set.
Unpack and recover
Agree the unpacking method, recovery period and acceptable variation in advance. Compare the recovered dimensions, shape, upholstery and comfort with the approved sample, and record any differences.
Plan logistics
For one carton, CBM equals outer length x width x height in centimetres divided by 1,000,000. Multiply by the carton count for the order; confirm container capacity separately against the actual carton arrangement.
